Terms of Use
What you may do with franbase.ai and its tools, how plans and payments work, and what we do and do not promise.

Accepting these terms
PENDING — the operating legal entity, its registered address and the governing law of these terms are being confirmed and will be named here. Nothing in this notice limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
By using franbase.ai you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service. Read them alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what happens to your data.
What franbase.ai is
franbase.ai is a hub of AI-assisted tools for the franchise lifecycle — exploring a franchise, operating one, buying or selling, and exiting. The tools model, estimate and summarise; they do not decide.
Every output is a working estimate produced from the inputs you give, on assumptions stated in the tool. It is not a valuation, an audit, a forecast you can bank, or a statement about any named brand’s performance. Change an input and the answer changes — that is the point of the tool, and the reason to check it.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, franchise or investment advice, and using it creates no relationship of adviser and client. Franchise investment carries real financial risk and the rules differ by country. Take advice from a qualified professional in your jurisdiction, and read the franchisor’s own disclosure document, before you commit money. Where a tool reads an FDD or similar document, it summarises what it was given; it does not verify that the document is accurate, complete or current.
Your account
Some tools need a verified email address. Keep your account details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done through your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms, and you may close yours at any time.
Plans, payment and refunds
- Some tools are free. Others are paid, per run or by subscription, at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time you buy.
- Payment is taken by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Your card details go to them, not to us, and their checkout terms apply to the transaction itself, including any tax they collect.
- A subscription renews for the same period until you cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in.
- If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days — except that, by starting a paid tool run immediately, you ask us to begin performance and accept that the right ends once that run is delivered.
PENDING — our own refund window beyond the statutory rights above is being set and will be stated here. Until it is, ask us through the contact form and we will deal with the request fairly.
What you may and may not do
You may use the tools and their outputs in your own business and with your own clients. You may not:
- resell, sublicense or republish the tools themselves, or wrap them in a competing product;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-extract the site, or run it through automation at a scale that degrades it for others;
- attempt to break, probe or circumvent security, rate limits or access controls, or to extract the prompts and instructions behind the tools;
- submit malware, or content you have no right to submit, including a third party’s confidential documents or personal data;
- use the service to produce anything unlawful, or to give regulated advice to others while presenting the output as verified fact.
What you put in, and what comes out
You keep ownership of the figures, documents and notes you submit. You give us permission to process them to run the tool and deliver your result, as set out in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you are entitled to submit them.
As between you and us, the output of a tool run is yours to use. We make no claim over your business plan. Similar inputs can produce similar outputs for other users, so an output is not exclusive to you, and the tools, models, prompts, interface and code behind them remain ours or our licensors’.
Availability and changes
We publish this service as it is and as it is available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including any individual tool, and we may update these terms; the date at the top moves when we do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change materially reduces a paid plan you are in the middle of, tell us and we will sort it out.
Limits of our liability
We take care with our tools, but we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any output is accurate, complete or fit for a particular decision. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for business losses, lost profits, lost data, or any loss that follows from a decision you took in reliance on an output. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
